Albany Care Group is a privately-owned care provider supporting individuals with Learning Disabilities / Mental Health / Challenging Behaviour and other complex needs, with homes located in and around Hampshire, Oxfordshire and Northampton.
We are currently recruiting Support Workers for all of our beautiful homes, in Portchester, Fareham, Havant, Northampton and Oxford. Each provide specialist residential support for 3/6 adults with a variety of Learning Disabilities and Mental Health needs. We always base our personalised support on the specific needs, choices and ambitions of the individual. This is where you come in! You will be assisting with all aspects of daily life to ensure that individuals thrive within our environment.
The Support Worker Role –
We are seeking Support Workers to work either day or night shifts on a full or part time basis. We have vacancies in Portchester, Fareham and Havant. Your role will be to provide one to one support for our residents including personal care, cooking for / with them, accompanying them on days out, and generally providing a friendly face for them to engage with. Other duties include record keeping and medication administration.
Ideally experience within Learning Disabilities would be desirable, although not essential as we will provide in-house training.
Our usual shift patterns run 0800-2000 for days and 2000-0800 for night shifts.
